Lotus Domino Designer 7 offers new features designed to help you better manage Lotus Notes and Domino applications, provide new user‑interface elements, and provide better support for newer technologies such as Web Services.

In this chapter, we examine these new features and explain how you can get more out of Domino Designer 7. Major features include:

  • AutoSave
  • Design enhancements, including shared columns, Design view features, input enabled formulas, default form indicator, design elements improvements, and new SmartIcons
  • Agent profiling
